Biriyani is not just a dish, but its just beyond it, particularly among the communities belonging to the Indian Subcontinent. Personally I am a great lover of Biriyani. Its always not really possible to find a restaurant or an outlet that serves biriyani especially when you are living outside the country.And one fine day I decided to try making one of my favorite Biriyani called as 'Thalassery Chicken Biriyani' (Malabar Chicken Biriyani). The history of Thalassery Chicken Biriyani is very much available in the web.The aroma of Biriyani feeds the nasal senses whereas the blend of different tastes from its ingredients satiates the taste buds.
There are several recipes available in the internet for Malabari biriyani. I tried out recipes from several sources, but the result was not satisfactory. Because I somehow remembers exactly the original aroma and taste of it. After a few trial and error experiments I understood that finding an authentic and easier recipe seemed a bit impossible until I explored the Youtube Channel of Mrs Veena Jan, Veena's Curryworld
And now I am really good at making Thalassery Chicken Biriyani that fulfilled my cravings. However, I needed validation for my experience in order to share among more crowd. So I served a few plates to my family and friends. After all the appreciation I received was beyond my imagination. Preparing this biriyani following the recipe may be time consuming for a beginner in cooking (Like me!!! 😄). But the outcome surely pays for your sweat if you follow the recipe religiously.
So its my huge pleasure to share with you the best satiating yummy and practical recipe for Thalassery Chicken Biriyani (Dum) I have experimented so far (NB: I don't really feel like try other recipes just because this recipe satisfied my senses wholly ).
