Are you someone who belong to these categories???
  • I am not fond of cooking, but anyway have to ...
  • I like to cook, but I am just a beginner...
  • I cook with great enthusiasm, but my dishes are often a disaster..
It doesn't matter if you like to cook or don't...

The idea of this post is to help those newbies in cooking who think that it's not their cup of tea...

Firstly, let's discuss the main benefits of self cooking..
  1. You can always make healthy choices
  2. You really know the status of  the ingredients in your food
  3. You can always improvise a dish favoring your taste buds
  4. and still more...
So without further delay let me list out the golden tips for anyone who is just starting to cook..
  1. KEEP all the ingredients of the recipe READY before you start.
  2. PAY your ATTENTION while chopping and cutting vegetables/fruits/meat as it plays a crucial role increasing the flavor and taste of your food.
  3. Understand that fast cooking on high heat reduces the taste and even there are chances of burning the dish...So always start with low and medium heat (gas stove/induction)while cooking. And say NO to HIGH TEMPERATURE COOKING  unless and until you know the pulse of cooking or you really need it for cooking any particular dish.
  4. Be patient with each and every steps of cooking...For example if your recipe demands you to saute onion until they are brown...just wait until they are brown...if you try to make it brown faster by increasing the temperature, just remember the 2nd tip above.PATIENCE IS THE  KEY TO SKILLED COOKING.
  5. LEARN WITH MISTAKES. Don't be disheartened if you fail the first time, try to understand where you have gone wrong and try again.
  6. DISCUSS with your peer group or elders/experienced persons before you start cooking any dish.
Try these tips out, and you will find a positive difference in  your cooking skills
